The Consorzio Gavi presented its new label, inspired by Princess Gavia, the noblewoman who gave the name to the village of Gavi.
Painted by Riccardo Guasco, a famous Italian illustrator and painter, the label depict Princess Gavia embrassing the hills where Cortese grows. The painting also depicts the vineyards, the Forte di Gavi and the Ligurian Sea, from which Gavi’s journey around the world started.
The Guasco’s label will represent Gavi Docg during all the events in which the Piedmontese appellation will take part this year.
