Twenty years ago the Fondazione Qualivita was born with the aim of promoting Italian Designations of Origin and Geographical Indications. The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella wanted to celebrate the anniversary by inviting representatives of the Foundation and the Treccani encyclopedia to the Quirinale.
The Italian Encyclopedic Institute Treccani has included the Italian Geographical Indications among its works by publishing the tenth edition of the Atlas of Quality. This confirms that agri-food products are an Italian cultural and economic heritage that deserves to be disclosed with pride in the world.
