The movement restrictions imposed by the Coronavirus caused large economic repercussions on the wine tourism business in April. Agriturist-Confagricoltura estimates a damage greater than 800 million euros, which could be only a minimal part of the damage that the virus could cause to the upcoming summer season.
“Like the whole country we have completely stopped. However, I am convinced that after the emergency phase the favorite holiday by Italians will be the one in the farm. After the long period of quarantine Italians will look for open spaces and vast horizons” explains Agriturist’s President, Augusto Congionti.
